PLEASE read all parts of our policy. If a deposit is placed, you are agreeing to this policy whether you have decided to read it or not.

Welcome to Trulie Rex Rabbitry, we are located in Citra, Florida just 20 minutes north of Ocala. We trulie care about all of our rabbits here at Trulie Rex Rabbitry and for their health & safety we are a CLOSED rabbitry and do NOT allow visitors. These policies are in place to ensure our rabbits stay healthy and go to the best possible homes.

Deposits: We are established on a first come first serve basis. This means to officially hold and reserve a bunny a 50% deposit is required. Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable except for the following reasons only: Rabbit gets sick or dies while still in our care or is no longer available. If and only if one of those issues happens, will deposit be refunded or become tansferable to another rabbit. Deposits can be placed through Venmo or zelle. We accept Venmo, Zelle, or cash for the remaining balance of your rabbit upon pick up. Breeder has the right to hold back any rabbit in a litter for breeding.

Transportation: If using transportation company, the remaining balance is due two days prior to the rabbits leaving our farm. If local pick up, balance is due at time of pickup. No rabbit will leave our farm until the balance is paid. Our rabbits are checked over daily from birth till leaving to go to their new homes. We strive to have happy & healthy rabbits! All of our rabbits are cared for in a temperature-controlled environment which we highly recommend. We can meet transport, but setting up transport is ENTIRELY up to the buyer. Stops need to be in Ocala/Gainesville/Citra Fl. 

Health: Our rabbits are sold as healthy to the absolute best of our knowledge upon leaving our farm. Once the rabbit leaves the property of Trulie Rex Rabbitry, we are not responsible or liable for any accidents, vet bills, expenses, health issues, or other problems the rabbits may have.
Once rabbit has left our care, we do NOT guarantee gender, weight, fertility, type, or behavior. If your rabbit is of show quality, we do not guarantee it can be shown. We cannot control as they can change with age, handling & environment and sexing can have mistakes at young ages. We raise all our baby rabbits with a litter box, and let them learn from their moms, but rabbits do what rabbits do, so accidents are always ongoing. Adult rabbits for sale, some have been raised with litter boxes and others come to us and were not. We suggest you continue to provide a litter box for inside rabbits and continue to put any accidents back into their litter box as you see it to reinforce their training.

At 8 weeks of age young rabbits can leave our care, but we have the right to hold them longer if we feel it's necessary. No rabbit will leave our care before 8 weeks of age due to the health priority of our rabbits.

Holding: If we hold any rabbit longer on our terms, there will be no added fee. If discussed, we can hold your rabbit for you after ready to go date with a board fee of $10 per week up to 3 weeks max.

Our rabbits are provided with a bag of transitional feed and hay if requested. A carrier is never provided; you must bring your own. Pedigrees are only provided for show quality rabbits. Pet quality rabbits do NOT come with a pedigree. Birth certificates for pet quality rabbits can be supplied upon request. A list of supplies needed can also be provided upon request.
